Savannah is a beautiful city with a haunting charm. It’s like stepping into another era, where time stands still and secrets are whispered in the Spanish moss hanging from the trees.
‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’ – by John Berendt
Another month and another trip! This time I went down to Savannah, GA with an excellent group of photographers to enjoy the atmosphere and landscape-ish opportunities that the city had to offer. There are so many iconic locations in the city – but Wormsloe State Historic Site and Bonaventure Cemetery are must see locations. Recommend Wormsloe on an overcast day, and Bonaventure with a clear sunrise (though having some fog in the morning would have also been excellent). It’s also hard to go wrong with a walk around the city at various times of day to really see how the vibe shifts from morning to night in the various parks and neighborhoods of Downtown Savannah. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the trip!
